Pastor Gumps Bazile is Head of Operations for Haiti Empowered in Haiti. He provides spiritual guidance for our villages in Léogâne, and leadership to our organization based on his vast knowledge of Haiti and her people. Read more about his story!

Pastor Kelly & Augustin
We partner with other organizations and schools to provide additional help to Haitians. One of those is with Pastor Kelly who manages two schools and an orphanage in Haiti.

Anita Paul
Anita Paul, a recent graduate, now devotes more time to her garden, which sustains her family. She plans to study Agronomy to expand her skills and expresses deep gratitude to those who supported her education. Watch her garden tour on our website.

Wedding Anniversary
Pastor and Madame Bazile celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on July 21. Their dedication and teamwork in serving others are truly inspiring.

School Year in Review (2023-2024)
Schools grew by 10%, adding 230+ students, 650,000 meals, and 3,000 clinic visits. A new professional school trained 300+ students, and a soccer league built community. Job creation expanded, employing 150+ people. Haiti Empowered continues to help individuals thrive.

Graduate Update - Anita Paul
Anita Paul, 22, balances school and work to support her family. Thanks to Haiti Empowered, she can complete her education. Passionate about biology, she dreams of studying Agronomy to continue her family’s farming legacy. Despite challenges, she finds joy in learning and hopes to give back.

Nearly Graduated
Esaie Nordeus is preparing for graduation, grateful for the support that has eased his challenges. Passionate about math, he dreams of becoming a teacher and engineer. He finds joy in classmates and sports but faces struggles with hunger and illness. With faith and determination, he works hard to succeed.
