The free medical and dental care provided is a life-changing offering in a context where people typically have to pay upfront for healthcare. This establishes the organization’s credibility and commitment to the community’s well-being.
- Building Relationships: The trust gained through meeting basic needs becomes the foundation for deeper connections, not just with families but also with local leaders. This ongoing relationship forms the core of community engagement.
In Haiti, only 50% of children are enrolled in school. Only 80% will attend some level of elementary school and of those, only 20% will attend High School. Not only that, but only 2% will graduate High School. With your help, we can beat those odds.
- Access to Education: Offering educational opportunities—especially focused on high school graduation, college, and vocational training—can transform the future of individuals and, by extension, the communities they live in.
- Holistic Education: In addition to traditional academics, teaching life skills, health education, and emotional/spiritual well-being empowers students to grow in all areas of life.
