Cassange Church Events

Throughout the month of December, the church hosted a variety of events and activities that brought together many members of the community. The month began with a week of prayer, followed by an exciting series of events in the last week of the year, all held on the church grounds. These activities drew a large crowd, where people gathered to hear the Word of God, experience fellowship, and receive many blessings.

One of the things we are most excited about has been the increase in marriages in the Léogâne community. When Pastor Bazile first began his ministry in this area, almost no one was married. Today, about 50% of couples are married and understand the importance of this covenant promise.

On December 14th the community gathered to celebrate the wedding of Ricardo Joseph and Hermitha Brésil. Both are members of the Cassagne church, and Ricardo is a teacher at one of our schools.

On December 26th, another beautiful wedding took place between Josué Saintéron and Rébecca Lejeune, who are also teachers on staff withHaiti Empowered.

These young couples exemplify the incredible progress that can be achieved through Haiti Empowered. In a country where many struggle with unemployment, these individuals have been able to establish careers, build homes, get married, and provide for themselves and their loved ones—all thanks to Haiti Empowered's impact in their lives.
