A Few Words From Pete..
We are hiring...
We want to add another Director of Partner Relationships. This is a critical position that helps with our growth as well as managing ongoing relationships to keep everyone as connected and engaged as possible.
We are also looking for a Marketing/Communications Director. This creative role will help us expand our reach to other organizations and people. We want to reach those that might not otherwise know about the great things God is doing through Haiti Empowered.

Cassange Corner
Featuring: Dieubon Emile and his wife Laina Dorvil Emile.
I have 2 children, a girl and a boy. The girl's name is Jemima Emile. She is 5 years old and goes to school every day. The boy is 16 months old now.
I (Dieubon) am a supervisor that works as part of the regular in construction. I work for Saintange, our lead director responsible for facilties and construction.
I grew up in the church led by Pastor Bazile. I was introduced to Haiti Empowered being Christella's older brother. Today I am also involved with the church as a trustee and love serving. I love Jesus very much and the opportunities I have had.
Thank you for the ministry of Haiti Empowered in Leogane, which helped me became a "good person in society". Thank you very much to everyone who supports the ministry in Haiti. It is hard to express what a difference it has made for me and my family I like to sing a song with the words...
"For whom is the crystal palace? Let me and Jesus cry that they can have golden thrones. It's for me and the redeemed. God bless you.
People
My name is Wislove Cheridose. I am 23 years old and graduated from high school.
I started with Haiti Empowered elementary school. It is thanks to the mission that I was able to go to school because my mother could not afford pay for schooling.
Now I'm in university studying to become a nurse. My wonderful sponsor has offered to help with my medical equipment and other materials for the university.
I want to become a nurse so that I could help my family, friends and others. When I finish university I would like to run a pharmacy too. I believe in God and have a lot of confidence in him.
I want to say thank you to everyone who is supporting this great work in Haiti. I could have been released on the street in any condition, but thanks to Haiti Empowered mission, I am a different person and my life has changed.
Journey
Month 5 (of 5) of our journey following Missoule Bresil: "Good evening to the everyone and the staff of Haiti Empowered, it me again Bresil Missoule. I hope everyone is ok in Jesus, for me everything is really good. To start I am really impatient for the final examination because I will be finished with classes in high school. After all the time I spend waiting for this day.
At the same time I have a feeling of stress because I want everything to go well for preparations I always go to school and pay attention to the courses carefully. I also study but am not completely ready because we haven’t finished all of the courses this year. But I believe that at the end of the year, everything will go well with God's help and the fruits of my work.
My favorite foods are plantain, fish and wheat and Congo beans For activities I like to read and watch movies and listen to music that's all I'm sharing with you. I was happy for the opportunity, God bless you.
Editor Note: We are planning a live broadcast with Missoule In June. Look for more information on the date and time. Please send in questions for her so she can have time to think about them.
Projects
Pemiyen's new classroom is nearly done once we get a door, chalk board, and benches installed. We make our own chalk boards with plywood, a frame, and paint!
Belloc is well underway as the second of the three new class rooms. Every new child sponsored allows us to register another one for the youngest grade. Please help us register as many as we can for the next school year, now.
Please help us complete this by
