Anita Paul
As you might remember, we interviewed Anita Paul in June. We followed that up with an interview and view of her large garden.
A video of Anita’s garden is available here or on our website under media.
“I (Anita Paul) attended school since kindergarten and now have finished high school. I now have more time to work in my garden. We harvest many things including corn, spinich, bananas, manioc, pears and watermelon. We are grateful for the rainfall but that also brings many weeds too."
Before I finished school I had to do most of the work on the weekend to take good care of the garden. Every day my family sells things from my garden. Today we are harvesting watermelon.
Now that I have graduated I want to study Agronomy. That will allow me to be even more productive and do this with my life. I could never dream of that education without being able to attend school and learn so much.
It is hard to express my gratitude to sponsors and those that built the class rooms. I want the same for the children now starting out like I did.
I love you very much.”
